A man with no fixed genre allegiance, Justin’s vinyl journey is truly unhinged, one day he’s locked into deep dub, the next he’s exploring the fringes of leftfield experimental jazz. It’s this eclecticism that has seen him closing out We Out Here for the last two years, curating nights at Spiritland and spinning records at some of London’s most revered listening spots.

Kyle Andries - House, Zouk, Disco

Rotations With Friends, our series celebrating top-tier DJ talent and deep record collections from across the UK! This time, we've got the incredibly skilled Kyle Andries behind the decks, bringing his signature global sounds and rhythmic energy.

Kyle has graced platforms like My Analog Journal and Rinse FM and was the driving force behind the legendary Lokey collective, responsible for some of the South Coast’s biggest parties.

Now, he's carving out his own path, blending polyrhythmic percussion, world music, and crate-dug gems into his unique DJ sets. With gigs spanning We Out Here Festival (Saturday night closer!), Turkey, France, and Holland, Kyle’s reputation continues to grow. Expect an eclectic, groove-filled journey in this mix!

Chris Wheatley - Strictly Boogie

EP. 003

We're back with the third instalment of Rotations with Friends, this time featuring the legendary Chris Wheatley or as many of you know him, FunkyMusak on Instagram. A true staple in the scene, Chris has played at some of the most notorious spots, including Frequence, Bambi, Café 1001, and more. From headlining festival stages to curating one of the finest vinyl collections, Wheaters is a proper wax head with a deep-rooted passion for digging and collecting.

When we hit Blend to record this mix, we asked him what track he's had on repeat, and his answer? Mystic Merlin – "Mr. Magician." Safe to say, it’s an ‘80s boogie banger! That leads us right into his power hour, where he's keeping it strictly boogie, selecting the finest gems from the genre.

Rhythm Social selecting Gospel, Funk, Boogie and Soul

We are genuinely excited to bring you our very first mix from the Rhythm Social boys, Justin and Andy. Over the last year, we have been dedicated to building a monthly party experience for our friends and community to enjoy and collectively explore new and diverse music. We have hosted memorable parties at Deus alongside Poly Ritmo, and we've curated intimate dinner sets at Voya in Brighton, each event designed to create a unique musical atmosphere. All of these experiences have led us to this moment where we are recording and promoting our own sets, with the hopeful aspiration of one day performing in some of our long-lasting favourite venues or festivals.
